For the third time in our relationship I am packing up all my belongings and leaving the home that Adam and I share. You'd think by now he would come with me or get the hint!
But alas India and Nepal is on my bucket list and definitely not on his, so we will meet back at home in Australia. I am grateful that he has been so supportive (right from the start) and has always told me that I should go to India and Nepal and it is now or never and I'll regret it if I don't. Thank you Ads for being the push I needed!
So my itinerary is:
- Leave London for Delhi,
- Stay a few days in Delhi seeing the sights,
- Meet up with a tour group and travel overland to Kathmandu via.. Jaipur (The pink city), Agra (Taj), Orchha, Varanasi (Ganges), India/Nepal border (near the birthplace of Buddah), Safari through Chitwan National Park on an elephant (tigers, bears, leopards, monkeys and wild chickens), Pokhara (Fish tail mountain and views of the Annapurna range) then into Kathmandu.
- I'll have about a week in Kathmandu to relax and take a flight around Everest
- Meet up with Edge of Seven, a volunteer organisation, to fly to the Everest Region of Nepal and work in a rural village building a boarding school extension to help local girls get an education. https://www.facebook.com/edgeof7
- Then it's back to Australia just in time for xmas. Hopefully Adam will be home in time for our engagement party, otherwise I may have to rename it..
I can't wait!
